BAST Training Refund & Cancellation Policies

BAST Training is committed to providing high-quality education, training, and resources for singing teachers. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase, as it outlines your rights and our responsibilities across all products and services.


1. Digital Products & Online Courses

(Including the Foundation Course and Educational Resources)

No Refunds After Access

All digital products are non-refundable once accessed. This includes logging into the course platform, viewing any lesson, streaming content, or downloading materials.

By purchasing and accessing your course immediately, you agree to waive your 14-day cooling-off rights under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Limited Eligibility)

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase only if no content has been accessed.

To request a refund within this period, please email us with your order details.

We Do Not Offer Refunds For:

  • Change of mind
  • Not having time to complete the course
  • Finding the content challenging
  • Purchasing by mistake after accessing any materials
  • Partial completion or usage of the course

 

Bundled Products

Where a purchase includes multiple components (e.g. course, mentoring, membership access), access to any part of the bundle constitutes access to the full product. Refunds will not be issued once any component has been accessed.

Technical Issues or Misrepresentation

If you experience technical difficulties or believe a product is not as described, please contact us. We will work to resolve the issue and, where appropriate, offer a remedy in line with UK consumer law.


2. Mentoring Sessions

Booking & Usage

Mentoring sessions must be completed within 6 months of enrolment. Any unused sessions after this time will expire and are non-refundable.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice
  • Failure to attend a session

will result in the session being counted as used.

Rebooking Missed Sessions

Missed sessions can only be replaced by booking an additional session at the current rate.

Late Arrival

If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.

Mentor Cancellations

If a mentor needs to cancel, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.


3. Live Events (In-Person & Online)

This includes workshops, masterclasses, intensives, and retreats.

Cancellation by You

  • 21+ days before the event: Full refund minus 10% administration fee
  • 8–20 days before: 50% refund
  • 7 days or less: No refund

 

Transfers

Tickets may be transferred to another person with prior approval from BAST Training.

Cancellation or Changes by BAST

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price.

BAST Training is not responsible for any additional costs incurred (e.g. travel or accommodation).


4. Membership – The Knowledge Hub

Subscription Terms

The Knowledge Hub operates on a monthly auto-renewing subscription.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period, after which it will stop.

We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods.

5. Payment Terms

Payment Plans (e.g. Klarna)

Where payment is made via a third-party provider such as Klarna, the agreement is between you and the provider. Refund eligibility remains subject to this policy.

Commitment to Purchase

All purchases represent a commitment to the full product or service. Failure to use or complete a product does not constitute grounds for a refund.


6. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases, refund requests may be reviewed at our discretion. Any such decision is made on a case-by-case basis and does not set a precedent.


7. Right to Refuse or Withdraw Access

BAST Training reserves the right to refuse or withdraw access to any product, service, or event where necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, breaches of terms, inappropriate conduct, or misuse of materials.

Refunds in such cases are not guaranteed and will be considered at our discretion.


8. Level 5 Qualification

The Level 5 course has its own specific refund, payment, and withdrawal policy.
